HARRY TODD 1949 - 2002
It is with our deepest regret that we announce the sudden death of Harry Todd, at one of our trials at Ashes quarry. Harry was one of the main stays of the club. He was always willing to lend a hand with any club activity and his commitment to the club will be hard to replace. He was always there to offer help and advice to anyone who needed it. In recent times, however, he was forced to reduce his driving activities, due to a back problem, but this did not stop his enjoyment of the sport. It was especially poignant that this should have happened on the day of this trial, as we had such a high turnout including a number of new members, as well. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to his wife and family in their time of sorrow. Harry’s kind and generous character will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
